Accessibility at Levelorn
We want everyone to be able to use Levelorn. Our target is level AA of WCAG 2.2, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
What works today
- Tab, Enter and Space reach and operate every control, betting boxes and game buttons included, and an amber outline shows where you are.
- Cards are announced by name (for example “queen of hearts”), and game results are read out by screen readers as they happen.
- Text and interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against their backgrounds.
- Low-motion mode, and your device's reduced-motion setting, switch off rolling reels and other animation.
- Pages work at 400% zoom and on narrow screens without sideways scrolling, except the roulette board, which scrolls within its own box.
- The games page has a search box that filters the library by name, zone or type as you type.
Known limits
- Reel symbols are described by name, but a full grid can be slow to follow with a screen reader. The status line under each game always gives the result in words.
- The roulette wheel itself is decorative; the result is announced as text.
